Michael Duff, Senior Representative for Community Engagement with the American Cancer Society spoke to the Rotary Club of Boston #7 members on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Fisher College.

For more than 100 years, the American Cancer Society (ACS) has worked relentlessly to save lives and create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. Together with millions of our supporters worldwide, the American Cancer Society helps people stay well, helps people get well, find cures, and fight back against cancer.

Here in Massachusetts, ACS funds over 100 researchers at local hospitals, and runs two Hope Lodges locations, where patients can stay free of charge as they undergo treatment. American Cancer Society provides patient support programs, educational programs, and has a cancer information line available 24/7. In addition, ACS is active in legislative efforts advocating for cancer patients. Learn more about the American Cancer Society and their live-saving work in Massachusetts.
