Rotary Club of Boston Sponsors Boston Rotaract Club with Clean Water Project In Guatemala
Posted by Shiela Lally
The Rotary Club of Boston has provided Boston Rotaract with a generous donation of $250.00 towards their clean water project. A group of Boston Rotaract members will be traveling to Guatemala at the end of the month as part of an ongoing clean water project. On the trip they will be working with Mayan Families to provide aid to remote and underprivileged villages around the town of Panajachel where they will help deliver and install water filters. Clean water has been their main fundraising goal so far, but they are also contributing cooking and medical supplies. This trip represents a collaboration among Boston Rotaract, Chicago Rotaract, and Club Rotario Guatemala Sur and therefore Boston Rotaract highly values the support of the rest of the Rotary family here in Boston.
Boston Rotaract is making a final fundraising push this week before their trip. Please help them reach their goal by donating today.
